Her-story
​
Genithia Geiger - established Dec. 2007, Founder and Executive Director of Educated Sistas’ Association, Genithia Geiger, was a high-school drop-out and recipient of a GED. She experienced first-hand how the lack of resources, mentors, and low self-esteem can lead to dropping out. This connection is the foundation of the organization we use to connect to the girls we serve. Ms. Geiger. is the Owner and director of Young Scholars Daycare Center, her professional background ranges from the public and private sectors. She holds an Associate's Degree in Occupational Studies, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration, an MBA in Human Resources, Master of Education, and is a candidate for her Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership.

Our Mission
Educated Sistas' Association is a member organization established to educate, advocate, network, inspire, mentor, and motivate women and girls, especially at-risk teens. We carry out this mission through community service, education, mentoring, training, and development in order to empower women and girls.

We envision a world in which all women and girls are confident and empowered to reach her fullest potential
